The Entrepreneur Investor Platform (EIP) brings together successful entrepreneurs with attractive SMEs and thereby strengthens Swiss entrepreneurship.
The EIP stands for entrepreneurial capital: Together with numerous experienced and successful entrepreneurial families, as well as Swiss insurance company die Mobiliar, Helvetica Capital invests in attractive SMEs and actively contributes to their independent long-term development. Our comprehensive industry network supports our team on a case-by-case basis during the investment phase as well as in the context of value creation through advisory, board or other mandates. The EIP is not constrained by set maximum holding periods and follows a best ownership approach.
Our focus is on investments in established, medium-sized companies in Switzerland and neighboring regions. We offer sellers profound expertise in solving succession situations, growth opportunities, management buy-ins/buy-outs and special situations.
Our investment criteria in the context of the EIP are the following:
- Small and medium-sized enterprises in Switzerland and neighboring countries
- Business models characterized by clear unique selling propositions
- Minimum revenues of c. CHF 20 m. combined with solid margins
- Clear potential for scalability and market leadership

Swiss Entrepreneurs Fund
The Swiss Entrepreneurs Fund provides venture capital and growth financing for innovative growth companies with a clear link to Switzerland. The fund’s investment focus is on Switzerland’s core innovation sectors: Healthcare, Digital and Engineering.
Acting as a catalyst for Swiss growth companies, the Swiss Entrepreneurs Fund is a private initiative with the patronage of the Swiss government featuring an unprecedented collaboration between leading Swiss financial institutions. The Swiss Entrepreneurs Fund was launched in 2019, with the aim of strengthening the Swiss technology innovation ecosystem, enhancing Switzerland’s competitiveness on a global scale and offering an attractive investment opportunity to institutional and qualified private investors.
An investment management function with a high-profile investment committee set-up, complemented by seasoned industry experts, will orchestrate the investment decision process and the sustainable development of portfolio companies. In the context of this multi-stakeholder undertaking, Helvetica Capital is mandated to advise the direct investments initiative.
